Royal Jelling: The Birthplace of Denmark

Surrounding these magnificent stones and mounds are traces of the first Danish fortification, marked by concrete pillars. Evidence suggests that the massive site held extensive oak palisades marking a 350-meter-long ship (1,500 feet).
