Climb aboard a rugged, Jeep-style vehicle and head out of Abu Dhabi, pausing before you leave the city limits to photograph the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the city's most breathtaking landmarks, featuring Moorish architecture and boasting classic Arab minarets and 82 domes. Snap some pictures, then head into the Al Khatim Desert to scale the tallest sand dunes in the world. The constantly shifting sand dunes create a breathtaking outer-worldly atmosphere with vast open spaces that enhance the beauty of the area's quiet, rolling landscape. Pause to take pictures of these awesome natural wonders before heading to the Arabian Desert Camp for an authentic barbecue and time to enjoy the ample amenities, including the refreshing palm tree-lined swimming pool (be sure to wear a swimsuit under your clothes). Return to port at the end of this exhilarating day.
