Surrounded by rolling meadows, Hahndorf is Australia's oldest surviving German settlement. Founded in 1839, many local businesses and attractions are operated by descendants of the first German pioneers. Purchase lunch in any one of the charming cafés before heading to your next destination. Back on the coach, you'll head to Mount Lofty. At over 2,300 feet above sea level the summit landing on Mount Lofty provides breathtaking views of Adelaide, the coastline, and on clear days you can see Kangaroo Island.
