Your day of discovery continues with a visit to Sannai-Maruyama ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japan's largest and most complete Jomon villages. Explore reconstructed pit dwellings, houses and a large tower from around 13,000 to 300 B.C. Pause for lunch, followed by a tour of the Nebuta Warasse Museum, home of meticulously crafted floats used in the annual festival.

The Great Buddha is located at the top of an uphill walk. This tour is not recommended for passengers with walking difficulties.
