The traditions of Greece abound on this guided tour that celebrates its history and lively culture. Your motorcoach takes you past major sites, including the Old Olympic Stadium, Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Visit the ancient Acropolis, which dominates the Athenian landscape. A walk up 80 steep steps brings you to the Propylaea, the gateway to the ruins; take a moment to enjoy the incredible views of Athens below. Your tour includes the architectural masterpiece, the Pantheon, the sacred Erectheum, and the graceful Porch of the Caryatids. Then you'll travel by motorcoach to the famed Plaka shopping district and independently explore the colorful marketplace brimming with boutiques, cafes, and small specialty museums. Lunch is a traditional Greek feast with a sampling of local fare, followed by a rousing show of Greek music, song, and dance. Everyone is up on their feet to join in the fun, Zorba-style!

Security restrictions at the Acropolis prohibit entrance with large bags and backpacks. Passengers should expect lines and crowds at the Acropolis.
The tour involves climbing approximately 80 steps at the Acropolis as well as walking over some uneven and slippery paths. There is a 10-minute walk from the motorcoach drop-off point to the Plaka. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Passengers with limited mobility should take this into consideration before booking.
