Discover Belfast's fascinating history on a half-day adventure that begins with a panoramic motorcoach tour through its vibrant city center and visits a Victorian prison. Board a motorcoach for a narrated driving tour that takes you past a host of popular sights. Stop for a photo at City Hall and the Titanic Memorial. Your drive will take you to conflicting neighborhoods separated by a Peace Wall, where a series of brightly painted political murals are located. Stop to admire the poignant artwork. Continue on to the Victorian Crumlin Road Gaol, an infamous prison that was in operation for more than 150 years. Walk through this historic building, now completely renovated, on a self guided tour and step back into its eerie past, even entering the cells that housed prisoners of old. At the end of your visit, there will be a brief opportunity to visit the small shop and museum before the return drive to the ship.
特記事項:
Two parts of the Crumlin Road Gaol tour are not fully wheelchair accessible - the tunnel and the drop cell. Due to the building being a Grade A listed building, they are unable to put lifts in these areas. This tour involves around one hour of walking, which includes steps. Flat, comfortable shoes are advised. It is not always possible to stop on Shankill and Falls Roads, due to them being one way streets and a Business district nearby. Alternatively, a different political mural stop will be made.
