Take a leisurely walking tour of the medieval town of Rostock. After a coach transfer to the city port of Rostock, a guide will lead on a walking tour you past the Fountain of Joy, Rostock University, the Kröpelin Gate, Holy Cross Convent, and the Town Hall. Next is an photo stop at the St. Mary's Church, the most famous of Rostock's seven medieval churches. Founded in the 13th century, St. Mary's Church is famed for its many attractions. The stunning stained-glass window, which features the Day of Judgment, measures 85 feet tall and is one of the largest single stained glass windows in Europe. Then, you'll have free time to shop for souvenirs in Market Square before going by coach to a local Micro-Brewery. After learning the process of brewing beer, you'll be treated to a freshly brewed glass of beer and a delicious German pretzel. Then, after a short coach transfer to Rostock Harbour, you'll return by boat along the Warnow river to Warnemünde, the Baltic beach resort.
