Take a guided tour of some of the most notable and historical sites around Berlin and visit the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. You'll travel by train to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp (water and a small snack are provided). During your guided tour you'll learn the history and the horrors as you walk by Guard Tower A, the execution chamber, the laundry (which, today, is the site of a chapel), Station Z, and more. At the conclusion of your tour you'll travel to Berlin, for lunch followed by a tour of the city. Some of your stops include the Brandenburg Gate. Constructed in the 18th century as a representative city gate, it gained notoriety as a symbol of a divided city during the Cold War. You'll also see the Holocaust Memorial, dedicated to the memory of the six million Jews who were murdered by Hitler and the Nazi. You'll return to your ship by train.
