Vjetrenica Cave & Old Town of Dubrovnik: A Small Group Tour

Step off the coach, put on the provided helmet and thrill to the cave's magnificent limestone formations. Upon entering, you'll quickly learn why it's called the "Wind Cave." A strong blast of cool air blows through the corridor but stops as you walk along the mainly flat, paved and well-lit path past vast halls and corridors, stalactites, numerous lakes, several waterfalls, and cave drawings that are estimated to be over 10,000 years old. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it's acclaimed as one of the world's most important subterranean biodiversity sites with over 200 different animal species, cave-dwelling fauna and the only subterranean tubeworm in the world.
