Enjoy a bushwalk with stunning views, wildlife and empty beaches in Ben Boyd National Park.
Transfer to Barmouth Beach where you will have a quick briefing and be fitted with your packs and walking poles before beginning your bushwalk with views overlooking sapphire blue waters of the Pambula River mouth. After exploring the beach and admiring the view, you will walk through a tall eucalypt forest with views North along the Coast.
Your walk is 4 kms along the coast to Haycock Point. The coastline is spectacular with the sapphire waters of the Pambula River flowing along cliffs formed from dramatic red rocks, 360 million years old. Along the way we may see iconic Australian animals such as the Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Wallaby, Goanna and plenty of bird species.
On arrival at picturesque Haycock Point, you will enjoy a morning tea before beginning the trip back to your ship, stopping at The Pinnacles along the way to enjoy a short (1 km) walk and see the views at this interesting geological feature.

The walk is easy to moderate but with a few short uphill sections and some walking on rocky and uneven ground.Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes.
