Begin with a 1.5-hour guided driving tour of the capital of the Falkland Islands and admire the unique fusion of British and South American influences. Top sights include the Anglican Christ Church Cathedral, renowned for its striking exterior, the official residence of the governor, the Victorian-style Royal Falkland Islands Police Station, and the 1914 War Memorial commemorating the Battle of Coronel and the Battle of the Falklands. Keep your camera ready for popular photo stops including the Whalebone Arch, the Lady Elizabeth wreck, and the Totem Pole. Across from Stanley Harbour, stop at The Camber, an enclosed picnic area, where tantalizing local delicacies and libations are served. Upon your return, there is an option to disembark at the museum to complete the day.
