For those who prefer to see the sights at their own pace, this independent cable car excursion is a perfect choice. Make the most of your time in Gibraltar when you travel to the iconic "Top of the Rock", a must-see attraction. The journey is 6 minutes long and smoothly glides to a height of 412 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level. Once you reach the summit, take in the magnificent views. No visit to Gibraltar would be complete without seeing the Barbary apes, the only free-roaming monkeys in Europe.
Upon arrival at the Cable Car bottom station, you will have free access to the Multimedia Tour in the Cable Car Tour app through a QR code that is issued at the Cable Car base station ticket office. The tour guides the guests around the top station terraces and offers an insight into Gibraltar's fascinating history, pointing out all the key landmarks all the while enjoying the spectacular views.
You will also have free time to do a little shopping on Main Street or relax in the Irish Town pedestrian area (at your own expense). Return to the ship on your own.
