Set forth on a full-day, moderately active excursion via motorcoach to Edinburgh. Disembark at the city center and, armed with complimentary city maps, set out for four to five hours of exploration on your own! Among Edinburgh's many highlights, you may choose to visit St. Giles Cathedral and the Sir Walter Scott Memorial, or shop for souvenirs along the famed Princes Street. Perhaps you'll enjoy a tour of the magnificent Edinburgh Castle perched at the top of the Royal Mile or the historic Holyrood Palace, once home to Mary Queen of Scots. You may head to the harbour at nearby Leith for a fascinating tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia, one of the world's most famous ships. Or take timeout to enjoy a delicious traditional meal at a delightful pub. Fish 'n' Chips anyone? Then rejoin your motorcoach at a predetermined time and place for your return journey to your ship.
