If you're fond of flora then this half-day excursion is for you. So put on your walking shoes and begin your garden tour with a visit to Parque Doramas, a beautifully landscaped park that features flowers, cacti and native Canarian plants such as palm trees that date back over a hundred years. Next, is a tour of the Jardín Canario. Perched on terraces spread out over 27 acres the garden features 500 plant species endemic to the Canary Islands including the iconic drago or dragon tree. Your final destination is the Jardín de la Marquesa, a romantic and serene setting overflowing with 2,500 tropical plants, a 200-year-old dragon tree tucked among the cacti and palms, and peacocks who like to accompany visitors as they walk.. At the end of this perfect outing you'll rejoin your coach for the scenic ride back to your ship.
