Set off on a four-hour adventure that takes you into the heart of the beautiful island of Basse-Terre, boasting the prestigious Guadeloupe National Park, designated as a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Wear closed-toe walking shoes, sunscreen and your swimsuit under your clothes, then climb into a seven-passenger Land Rover and meet your driver/guide. As you traverse the island, immerse yourself in its unique tropical terrain and the coastal and forest preserves that rest under the foliage of La Grande Soufrière, an active volcano rising 4,813 feet. Your driver/guide will take you off the beaten path to areas not readily accessible, and you'll be introduced to such natural attractions as banana and pineapple plantations, rainforest trails, the Bras-David River where you can take a dip, and the Cascade aux Écrevisses (Crayfish Waterfall) which makes a stunning memento photo. Refresh with juice and local fruits, then return to port after this exhilarating day.

This tour is operated by driver-guides driving all-terrain vehicles. Guests will not drive themselves.Kindly note that it is a 7-seater vehicle (including the driver's seat) and that the 2 rear seats are less comfortable. Guests are therefore invited to take turns in the back seats during the tour.
