Board your coach and travel to the Morning Market, vendors display salmon roe, scallops, crab and sea urchin. Restaurants and stands offer dishes for sale, including domburi topped with sea urchin. Continue to Goryokaku Tower to view the historic Fort Goryokaku which was completed in the last years of the Edo period. Today Japan's first Western-style citadel is a public park and home to the city museum. The park is also noted for its fine cherry trees. Visit Trappistine Convent before enjoying your meal. Then visit the restored Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse District. Built in 1909, these brick warehouses are occupied by the Hakodate Beer Hall as well as restaurants and shops. Enjoy free time for sightseeing before taking an aerial tram to the summit of Mt. Hakodate. Board your motor coach for the return drive to the ship.

Ropeway may not be operated in bad weather. In that case, the tour goes up to the mountain top by coach.The view from top of Mt. Hakodate is weather dependent. The order of visit will might vary. Entering the building of convent is not permitted. Parts of area are only allowed to come in. On afternoon arrival day, dinner is included instead of lunch.
