Huon Valley & Tahune Airwalk

What you will visit:
Tahune Forest AirWalk
Take a walk amongst the treetops, up to 120 feet above the forest floor. Observe what a wet eucalyptus forest looks and smells like and discover how truly glorious nature can be from a new perspective. To reach the start of the AirWalk you'll need to ascend 112 steps. There are places to sit and rest along the way. Disabled access is available.

What you will see along the way:
Your narrated tour begins in Hobart at the pier, where you'll board a motorcoach to travel through the beautiful scenery of the Huon Valley, known for its apple orchards. Take in the scenic countryside, dotted with farms and bordered by hills and mountains. Orchards and vineyards abound in the fertile Huon Valley, and the journey alongside the picturesque Huon River, with reflections of the yachts and hills in the water, is breathtaking. Your return route passes along the pastoral Derwent River before reaching the suburbs of Hobart en route to the pier.

Snack:
As part of your tour, you'll sit down to a refreshing morning tea or coffee served with sandwiches, wraps, homemade cakes and muffins, as well as fresh fruit at a local Huon Valley café. Lunch is not included on this tour. However, a wide variety of food and drinks are available for purchase at the Airwalk.
