This tour lets you embark on your own search for 'Nessie,' the legendary creature of Loch Ness. Your adventure begins as you board your motorcoach for the scenic ride through the heather-covered hills of the lush Scottish Highlands on your way to Culloden Moor, where British troops defeated Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Highland clans. You'll board the 'Jacobite Queen' and cruise along the dark waters of Loch Ness, enjoying the scenery before arriving at the jagged ruins of Urquhart Castle a medieval stronghold that stands next to the dark waters of Loch Ness. Legend has it that a cave beneath the castle is the home of legendary 'monster.' After touring the visitor's center where you'll see exhibits and view a film capturing the area's history, and perhaps have a Nessie sighting of your own before returning to your ship.

The drive from Invergordon to Loch Ness is approximately one hour long.Steps at Urquhart Castle may be slippery.
