まずは17世紀に設計された仙巌園を訪問します。この庭園からは、桜島と鹿児島湾の素晴らしい景色をご覧いただけます。続いて、明治維新を紹介する博物館・維新ふるさと館を訪れます。近代日本の原動力となった鹿児島の歴史や先人たちの偉業などを、映像・ジオラマなどで、楽しく学びましょう。次の訪問場所は、薩摩藩代11藩主で日本の鎖国政策の終焉に貢献しました島津斉彬を祀る照国神社です。その後、写真ストップで城山展望所にて立寄った後に、市内を車窓しながらバスで船に戻ります。
