Prepare to relax, unwind and enjoy on this full-day tour. Your first stop is Ibusuki, the Satsuma Peninsula's foremost resort, famed for its therapeutic sand baths. Upon arriving at the hotel, you'll don a kimono and sit back as you're covered with warm sand up to your neck, followed by a shower and a Japanese-style bath. Next, you'll enjoy a Japanese-style lunch at a local restaurant. Next, head to Chiran, once the stronghold of the Shimazu samurai. Here, you'll witness a lane lined by residences of warriors who lived in Edo period (17th through mid-19th centuries). Your tour concludes with a relaxing drive back to the pier.

Passengers are provided with a cotton kimono and small towel for their sand bath. Changing facilities are available.Passengers with a history of high blood pressure, heart problems, skin problems cannot participate on this tour; a medical release must be completed prior to participation.
