After you grab your camera, you'll journey 45 minutes by motorcoach to Ma'alaea Harbor and step inside a sturdy and lightweight motorized Zodiac. Then, marvel at the beauty that surrounds you as your captain steers a course over the sparkling blue water along Maui's scenic sea cliffs in search of the humpback whales that migrate from Alaska every year to mate and calve from December through May. A certified marine naturalist will provide fun and informative interpretations of the humpback whale behaviors and characteristics. Once whales are spotted, your captain will maneuver the boat so you'll have the best views of these astonishing mammals without disturbing them. Keep your camera at the ready, you might witness a humpback whale breaching or slapping the water with its fins. After a snack and refreshments, you'll begin your journey back to Kahului.
