Discover the fascinating history and varied architecture of Lima on a relaxed, sightseeing adventure in the dynamic Peruvian capital. Your motorcoach brings you to Main Square, located in the heart of downtown, to view the Government Palace, the Town Hall, the Bishop's Palace with its beautiful balconies, and the Cathedral of Lima. Step inside to visit the choir stalls, the Churrigueresque Chapel of the Immaculate, the main altar and a statue of Christ made of carved ivory. On the right is the crypt with remains of conqueror Francisco Pizarro. Next, visit the Santo Domingo Convent, where the stunning neoclassical architecture is sure to pique your interest. Continue past several colonial squares, churches and mansions into the charming residential district of San Isidro and the modern Miraflores for a glimpse of life in this huge city, as well as its beautiful parks, modern buildings and great ocean views. Return to port.

Shorts, tank tops and sports shoes are inappropriate attire for visiting the cathedral.The Cathedral is closed on Saturdays in the afternoon, on Sundays and religious holidays. The tour will instead visit the San Francisco Convent.
