Estoril & City Drive

This fun half-day city and beach excursion starts with a scenic drive to Alto do Parque Belvedere for a photo stop, the city's much loved park. Enjoy stunning vistas of the city before boarding the motorcoach for the short drive to the gorgeous beach resort of Estoril. This charming town is home to Estoril Casino, which during World War II was reputed to be a clandestine meeting place for spies, and is said to be the inspiration for Ian Fleming's James Bond novel, Casino Royale. Wander freely along the pretty promenade here, and enjoy a beverage at one of the seafront cafes. Drive back to Lisbon along the banks of the Tagus, passing under the 25th of April Bridge, to the city's Belem district. View the incredible Belem Tower fortress, Jeronimos Monastery and photograph the striking Monument to the Discoveries.
