You'll board your motorcoach for the approximately one-hour drive north from Lembar in West Lombok through the capital of Mataram. You'll spy heavily cultivated lowlands dotted with rice terraces and fruit, nut and spice plantations as you make your way to Senggigi, Lombok's oldest and most famous resort area. First stop at local art and craft gallery. Senggigi is dotted with a series of white sandy beaches, as well as trendy bars, restaurants, cafes. Central Senggigi offers an exciting challenge for surfers; its colourful reef provides shelter to a variety of marine life and its exquisitely shaped coral makes for a perfect place to snorkel. However you choose to indulge yourself, you're free to enjoy this little piece of heaven before your return drive to Lembar.
