WHAT YOU VISIT
- Longyearbyen
Founded in 1906, the world's northernmost town began life as a coal supplier to the neighboring Scandinavian countries. You'll follow your guide along into the old part of Longyearbyen, and where they will point out sites of culinary importance, including the old piggery, the milk road and tell you all about the special issues that face an Arctic town.

- Svalbard Brewery
During your tour, you'll discover how alcohol was illegal from 1928 until 2014 when owner Robert Johanse lobbied the national government. Today, the brewery uses melt water from the two-mile-long Bogerbreen glacier to create their unique brews.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
You'll follow your guide along Longyearbyen's original settlement, dotted with buildings painted in bright, primary colors of yellow, blue and red.

REFRESHMENTS
Following your tour of the Svalbard Brewery, you'll be treated to five of the brewery's specialties: Weissbeer, Pilsner, Pale Ale, India Pale Ale and Stout.
