Old Mazatlan: Plaza, Theater & Cathedral

Discover "Old Mazatlan" on a half-day walking tour that travels from the main plaza "La Republica", where the famed cathedral stands to the Old Ocean Front Boulevard "Olas Altas" to. Together with your guide, you'll walk along the scenic shoreline, passing Cerro de Neveria and Plaza Taboada, home to Diver's Point and daring high-flying divers performing dangerous plunges into rocky surf. You'll walk into old Mazatlan, traveling the narrow streets of the historic district by Machado Square to find Teatro Angela Peralta and past the House of Music. You'll visit the main plaza, site of the Post Office and the 19th-century Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and City Hall. Your walking tour ends at a local restaurant to enjoy a beverage along with some chips and salsa, while waiting for the transport directly to the Ship´s Terminal. Passengers remaining in town to shop are responsible to return to the pier on their own.
