Explore the cultural attractions of Kamaishi and Tono on a full-day adventure. Begin with a one-hour scenic drive to Kamaishi Daikannon Statue, a towering statue of the Buddhist 'Goddess of Mercy' that overlooks Kamaishi Bay. You can climb the 13 floors inside to the observation deck, which rewards with panoramic views of the city and coastline. Settle back into the motorcoach for a one-hour drive to Tono Furusato Village. Step back in time at this living museum, a re-creation of the unspoiled landscape of old Tono and the lives of those in this farming village. Stroll the nostalgic grounds, view a waterwheel turning in a stream, rice paddies and a charcoal burner's hut and admire the thatched-roof 'magariya' houses built after the mid-Edo period. Pause for lunch, then visit the Fukusenji Temple, complete with a five-story pagoda and gardens nestled on a forested mountain slope. Return to port.
特記事項：
Need to walk 10 mins to Daikannon Statue from the parking lot and negotiate 200 steps inside of the statue.You have lunch at a very traditional style room 'thatched room magariya' so you need to take off your shoes and sit on the floor.
Need to walk 15 mins with 50 steps to temple from parking lot.
It will be 2 hour driving from last stop back to pier. (1 restroom stop)
