Gain insight into the cheesemaking process, the different types of cheese, and cheese's culture and history at Tingvoll Farm whose roots date back to 1303. The farm is home to four generations of the Waagen family forming a deep reverence for the natural world, its traditions and community bonds. A drive along the Tingvollfjorden through a landscape of rolling hills and quaint villages brings you to Tingvoll Farm. A guide will share the process of making its award-winning white and blue cheeses as you peer into the cheese room and ripening room. In 2016, its blue cheese Kraftkar won the World's Best Cheese Award in San Sebastian, Spain and took the Champion of Champions award for the world's best cheese throughout the competition's 29-year history. Following the tour, you'll be treated to a snack of different cheeses before your return to Molde.
