Ultimate Molde & the Troll Path

Discover Molde and its environs on this colorful adventure that features motorcoach travel, ferry rides and a gravity-defying drive along the Troll Path. Your full-day adventure begins with a panoramic drive through Molde to gain appreciation of the 'Town of Roses.' Take a ferry crossing to Vestnes on the far side of the fjord before continuing up the Skorgedalen Valley, passing a series of small fishing villages en route to Valldal, known for strawberry fields and the historic octagonal Stordal Church, erected in 1789. You'll pause for lunch then photos at Gudbrandsjuvet Gorge before you proceed down the hairpin turns and steep grades of the Troll Path mountain road. Depart the motorcoach to a viewpoint platform and look down into the famous Troll Wall, the highest vertical rock face in Europe. Continue to Afarnes and ferry to Solsnes, followed by a scenic drive through an underwater tunnel back to Molde.
