Discover Nagoya on this full-day tour that visits all the highlights and showcases its cultural and historic delights. Begin with a visit of the Nagoya Castle Palace, built in 1612 by the order of the first Shogun Ieyasu TOKUGAWA. Burnt down during the WWll, the reconstruction of the Hommaru Palace was completed in 2018. Note the gorgeous sliding door paintings. Next it's Noritake Garden, a 1900s red-brick factory building that showcases Japan's renowned porcelain makers. Wander through the factory to gain insight into this beloved tableware, and shop for elegant pieces to take home. After lunch, visit Toyota Commemorative Museum of industry and technology. Walk through the exhibit halls with interactive displays focus on 100 years of traditions and state-of-the-art technology demonstrations showcasing the impact of technological development on manufacturing. Lastly, explore the Atsuta Shrine. You may choose to visit the museum (admission fee required). The museum contains fine specimens of Japanese swords donated to the temple through the centuries.

The main castle tower of Nagoya Castle is under renovation. At Hommaru Palace, lines may be experienced to enter the building, shoes need to be removed, and backpacks and large bags need to be stored in a locker at the entrance. Wheelchair users can access the building from a different exit with a slope. If you wish to visit the museum at Atsuta Shrine, bring local currency as the entrance fee must be paid in cash in Japanese yen. Kusanagi Tour is not available on Mondays.詳細
