Your 1.5-hour adventure of culture and cuisine begins when you travel by motorcoach through Nuuk to the outskirts of the city, where the charming little Inuk Hostel welcomes you to a tasting of Greenlandic specialties. The hostel is beautifully situated overlooking Sermitsiaq Mountain and the huge fjord of Nuuk. If the weather is pleasant, the tasting will be performed at the beach near the hostel and the meals made on an open fire. If it is too cold, it will be performed in the Inuk café. Nibble and sample a variety of local delicacies made with fresh, organic ingredients, fish from the local waters, and game that roams in the natural environment, free of artificial impurities. Storytelling and food are an integral part of Greenlanders' characteristic hospitality. During your culinary experience, listen to wonderful tales and legends that celebrate Greenland's past and present and its ties with nature's bounty. Return to the pier with a full belly and a deeper understanding of the island's gastronomy.

Guests should bring mosquito nets and mosquito repellent and dress according to the weather conditions. If the weather is sunny, the tasting will be performed at the beach near the hostel and the meals made on open fire. If the weather is too cold or wet, the tasting will be performed inside at Inuk Hostel. Limited tourism infrastructure is part of the charm here, and you are trading breadth of experience for authentic interaction.
