Next, head to the Bangor Wine & Oyster Shed, located at the historic site of Abel Tasman's 1642 landing. Overlooking Blackman Bay, this boutique winery is one of the southernmost in the world. Learn how Tasmania's mild climate and cool nights help produce exceptional wines. Then, indulge in a tasting platter of freshly shucked local oysters paired with a glass of award-winning wine.
Your adventure continues with a scenic stop at Eaglehawk Neck, a narrow isthmus once patrolled to prevent convict escapes from nearby Port Arthur. Guests will need to walk approx. 5-10 mins from the tender arrival point to the coach departure point, the walk way is over uneven ground and includes a slight incline to reach the Visitor Centre.Order of sights visited may vary.
