Sea Kayaking at Saguenay National Park

Enjoy an up-close look at the astonishing Saguenay Fjord from the cockpit of a kayak. After arriving at Saguenay Fjord National Park, you'll meet your guide for a safety briefing and acquire your equipment. Then, you'll put your kayak into the water, step inside the two-person cockpit, and paddle out into the smooth-as-glass waters. Marvel at the jaw-dropping granite cliffs and the mighty fjord. Over 65 miles long, the fjord is about two miles wide. Here you may see peregrine falcons fly overhead and seals rest on nearby rocks. Your ultimate destination is Cape Trinity, the fjord's highest cliff and home of the 32-foot-high Our Lady of the Saguenay statue. After more than an hour on the water, you'll return to the Visitor Center where you'll have time to shop before returning to Saguenay.
