Explore the history and beauty of Cagliari on a half-day adventure that begins with a motorcoach drive through the city of Cagliari to see its top sights. Travel to 13th century Castello, the city's most significant historic quarters, built on a hill affording breathtaking views. Pass through the Tower of St. Pancras into the Piazza Arsenale and begin your guided pedestrian tour. Step into the Archeological Museum to see artifacts spanning millennia of Sardinian history. Continue to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Castello, a mix of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Enjoy a little time to explore on your own before re-boarding the motorcoach and traveling to the Bonaria Basilica for a photo opportunity. Continue your drive to the top of Mount Urpinu, a lush public park high on a hilltop, for magnificent panoramic views of the entire city. From here it is a short drive back to port.
