The Godfather on Location

For the die-hard "Godfather" fan, this is an excursion you can't refuse - over five hours of following in the footsteps of Vito, Michael and other memorable "Godfather" characters. First on the agenda is the town of Savoca. Perched high atop a rocky hill and tucked between tall elder trees, the village radiates an Old World charm. Bar Vitelli, where Michael asked for Signore Vitelli's daughter's hand in marriage, and the church where Michael and Apollonia married looks the same as when they were filmed decades ago. In the quaint village of Forza d' Agro are locations used in "Godfather II" and "Godfather III" including the Church of Sant'Agostino where a young Vito begins his escape to America by hiding away in the saddlebags of a donkey. Your colorful and historic tour concludes with a stroll back to your coach where you can relax and reflect on your exciting adventure.
