Your excursion begins with a sightseeing tour of Sitka. Sites you'll pass include the Russian Bishop's House, St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, and Fort Ray. Continuing on, you'll journey to Sitka National Historical Park for an optional walk along the scenic paths lined with totem poles and discover the visitor center for a look at modern crafts and ancient artifacts. Then, you'll travel to the historic Tlingit village area where you'll experience a traditional Tlingit performance and learn to speak Tlingit. Later, explore and photograph bald eagles, owls, hawks, and other birds of prey at the Alaska Raptor Center, an open bird habitat and research clinic.
