Walking with Llamas in Skjolden

A walking tour of Skjolden is twice as nice when accompanied by a llama! Your three-hour adventure begins with a 20-minute guided walk past hydro quay, across the footbridge over the Fortun River, where you'll stop for photos and commentary. Continue into the Morkrid Valley and on to the llama farm. Meet farm owner Simon Page and be introduced to this delightful farm, where raspberries grow in season and a flock of an old Norwegian breed of sheep roam. You'll meet the llamas gathered in the field, slip their halters on and engage in a handling demonstration. Then, with knowledgeable guides accompanying the group, escort your furry charge on a leisurely walk alongside the river while enjoying commentary about farm life. After returning to the farm, take a moment to enjoy a beverage and biscuits. On your return walk to port, you'll stop for a photo at a viewpoint overlooking the valley and farm before continuing to the center of town, where your tour ends.
