A kayaking adventure is a wonderful way to explore the watery wonders around St. Maarten. From the pier, it's a scenic drive through Cole Bay to Kim Sha Beach where your kayak awaits on the white-sand beach. After a kayaking lesson and safety orientation, you'll push off. You'll follow your guide at a leisurely pace across the bay and under the bridge into the Simpson Bay Lagoon, the largest saltwater lagoon in the northeastern Caribbean. Marvel at the magnificent mega yachts that make St. Maarten their winter base from November to April. After passing the luxurious marinas, enjoy the peace and quiet while learning about the Lagoon's complex ecosystem. After a brief rest stop in this beautiful locale, you'll paddle back to Kim Sha Beach for a swim and a refreshing drink before re-boarding the transportation and the return to the pier.

This most active excursion is suitable only for passengers in excellent physical condition. The minimum age required to participate is 9 years old. Maximum weight per person is 275 pounds.
