Built in the 1700s, the plantation house is the former home of slave Trace Wilson and his descendant Emilio Wilson who purchased the property to educate current and future generations about the conditions of plantation life. Today, it's the site of the Sky Explorer, a four passenger chairlift that transports you to an upper deck that encircles the mountaintop, Sentry Hill. From the 1,125 feet vantage point, you'll be treated to breathtaking 360-degree views. Once back down, you'll be treated to lunch in Emilio's restaurant, which once served as the sugarcane boiling house. You will be greeted by your chef who will take you through a culinary journey with a four course tasting menu. Upon completion of your fun filled culinary adventure, souvenirs and attraction photos are available for purchase in the gift shop.
