まずは伊勢神宮に向かいます。125の宮社がある中でも、最も重要な天照大神が祀られている内宮、そして農業、米の収穫と産業を司る豊受大神が祀られている外宮を参拝します。7世紀からの歴史を誇る社殿は、ヒノキの無垢材でできており、釘を使う代わりに木を組み合わせる接合技術で建てられています。外宮、内宮と参拝した後は、おかげ横丁にて約45分の自由時間があります。江戸から明治期の町をイメージして造られたこの通りには、お土産屋やレストラン、喫茶店がありますので、伊勢の味を楽しんだり、お土産物を購入したりして過ごしましょう。
