Ise Shima Skyline Easy tour

Nature is the premier attraction but there is also a deep culture and rich history to experience during this compact introduction to Toba's colorful and sacred sites. Once you board your coach you'll drive through Mt. Asama along Ise Shima Skyline, a nine-mile-long stretch of road that connects Toba and the town of Ise. At the top of the mountain sits the Asamayama Observatory where you'll stop for photos. Standing 1,820-foot-tall, Mt. Asama provides breathtaking views of Ise Bay, the town of Ise, the Pacific Ocean, and even Mt. Fuji can be seen in a distance on a clear day. Next, you'll step back on the coach and continue on to the Futami Okitama Shrine, famous for Meoto Iwa, two rock formations off the coast known as the "husband-and-wife rocks" connected by a thick rope used in Shinto shrines and rituals.
