Get to know Tokushima's history and culture during a four-hour excursion that begins with a scenic drive to Mount Bizan. Once you reach the summit of the 900-foot-high mountain you'll have a bird's eye view over Tokushima and its picturesque surroundings from the observation deck. Photos taken, you'll drive back down the mountain, over the Yoshino River and on to Ryozen-ji Temple. Founded in the 8th century, the temple is the first of the 88 temples along the 745-mile long Shikoku Pilgrimage route. A yearly estimated 100,000 pilgrims walk or drive the trail, which loops around the island's four prefectures. Photos taken you'll climb back aboard your coach and return to your ship.

Bizan ropeway is not included in this tour. This group goes up and down the mountain by bus.The view from the mountain is the weather dependent.
