Witness the architectural delights of Valencia's Old Quarter, also known as the Ciutat Vella, during a guided walking tour. A ride from the pier takes you along the Turia River's shoreline with views of Torres de Serrano, part of the ancient city wall. Once in the Old Quarter, you'll disembark and proceed along winding, cobblestoned streets past sites such as the Central Market and the Old Silk Exchange (outside visit), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Further on is the Valencia Cathedral, believed to hold the Holy Grail. Consecrated in 1262, the cathedral reflects a mix of Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical styles. Step inside and view the Gothic nave, impressive arches and columns, and a Renaissance altar, featuring intricate carvings and polychrome images. Then it's time to fast forward to modern times with a photo stop at the futuristic architecture of City of Arts and Sciences complex.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring local currency, hat, water sunglasses. In case that the Ship will be docked at Dique del Este pier, the duration of the tour will be increased by approximately 30 minutes. The tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties due to the amount of walking and steps inside the Cathedral. No visits to the Cathedral are permitted on Sunday/ Festivity mornings and during mass services.The Central Market will not be visited inside, and it is closed on Sundays & Festivity Days.
