Hosted by Australian comedian Peter Helliar, Chefs Ahoy is a travel and cooking competition set on spectacular Princess Cruises that takes two of Australia’s best-known chefs, and pits them against each other in an epic cooking challenge.
Our chefs must create a recipe based on their experience on board and in the port they visit and then serve it to thousands of hungry guests at the Captain’s Dinner.
Packed with great food, spectacular destinations, big personalities and plenty of humour, Chefs Ahoy is a global culinary battle where the chef who receives the most orders of their dish can sail away victorious with the Chefs Ahoy crown.

Episode 1 - Greece
Courtney Roulston vs Minoli De Silva. Crete.
Two chefs, one taste of Greece:
Courtney and Minoli explore the food of Crete, from fresh seafood and olive oil to traditional village cooking.
Courtney meets local fishermen and discovers the island's produce, while Minoli heads into the hills to learn the secrets of slow-cooked lamb.
Peter Helliar gets his own taste of Crete, with a seafood feast and a trip to the ancient labyrinth of the Minotaur.
Then it's back to the ship, where Courtney and Minoli must turn everything they've discovered into dishes that passengers will want to order.
Episode 2 - Japan
Miguel Maestre vs Dan Hong. 日本
Miguel and Dan set sail aboard Diamond Princess ready to arrive in Japan ready to explore, eat and find the inspiration that will give them the edge.
Miguel discovers the secrets of onsen eggs and Bungo Wagyu, while Dan gets hands-on with traditional cooking techniques and explores the surprising culinary offerings on board ship.
Meanwhile, Peter Helliar is taking a slightly different approach to Japan — starting with the ship's spa before trying a black sand sauna.
But there's no time to relax for the chefs.
Back on board, Miguel and Dan must turn their Japanese discoveries into dishes good enough to win over the Captain and, more importantly, thousands of hungry passengers.

Episode 3 - Spain
Mark LaBrooy vs Khanh Ong. Barcelona.
Game on: Barcelona gives the chefs plenty to work with.
Mark goes deep into Spain's meat culture, from the ship's Butcher's Block to Jamón Ibérico and modern Catalan cuisine. Khanh hits the streets, exploring tapas and Barcelona's vibrant food scene.
Peter Helliar takes the less complicated route: to eat his way around the city.
Then the chefs return to the ship, armed with Spanish flavours and one last chance to impress the passengers.
The galley gets busy. The orders come in. And once again, the guests decide who wins.
Episode 4 – South Korea
Vincent Yeow Lim vs Alice Zaslavsky. South Korea.
Bring on the heat; Vincent and Alice arrive in Busan with one goal: find the flavours that will give them the winning dish.
Vincent hits the seafood markets in search of the freshest local produce, while Alice explores Bulgogi Town and learns the traditional art of making kimchi.
Back on board, the chefs get more inspiration from the ship's dining options before heading into the galley to create their own Korean-inspired dishes. Will the veg queen go full meat in search of victory?
Peter Helliar, meanwhile, goes looking for enlightenment with a Buddhist monk.
Then the real test begins.
