Easy Bornholm, Svaneke & Fishing Village

Continue along a coastal road to Svaneke, founded in 1555 by wealthy merchants who built the large trading posts still seen in the village today. Shop independently, indulge in a treat at one of the many confectionaries, and sample the beers at the local brewhouse (at your own expense). Your return route travels through the Almindingen Forest. Planted in the 1800s to compensate for the extensive logging at the time, it is now one of the largest forests in Denmark.
