Exquisite scenery and a relaxed day of independent sightseeing introduces you to Svaneke, the easternmost town on Bornholm, on this half-day adventure. Upon arriving, disembark near the town center and stroll into town. Svaneke received the European Gold Medal award in 1975 and showcases preserved houses and entire streets that take you back to the 16th and 17th centuries. You'll have three hours to explore the area settled in 1555 by wealthy merchants who built the large trading posts still seen in the village today. Indulge in a sweet treat at one of the many confectionaries renowned for their delights and sample the beers at the local brewhouse. There is an abundance of handicraft shops, cafes and local galleries to enjoy.
